- Full Blade Coverage Sharpening: The KSAG-5 angle guide allows sharpening along the entire blade length—from heel to tip—so every section of the edge can contact the belt evenly. This helps achieve a consistent and precise edge profile.
- Wide Compatibility with 1x30 Belt Sanders: Compatible with many popular 1x30 belt sander models, including KFMK, Bucktool, Vevor, WEN and similar machines, making it an ideal upgrade for knife sharpening setups.
- Dual Angle Adjustment System for Precision: The guide features a main adjustable angle range from 10° to 45°, plus an included angle plate with preset angles (12°, 15°, 17°, 20°, 22°, 25°, 28°, 30°) to help achieve faster and more precise sharpening angle setup.
- Replacement Hex Socket Screw Included: If the original L-handle interferes with the belt sander during installation, it can be replaced with the included M8×40 hexagonal socket head screw, allowing easier installation and improved clearance.
- Adjustable Clearance for Different Belt Thicknesses: The distance between the sharpening table and the sanding belt can be adjusted by loosening the screws, allowing the guide to adapt to different belt thicknesses while maintaining a safe and optimal working gap.
- Two Installation Methods for Better Compatibility: Besides the standard mounting method, the KSAG-5 can also be installed by removing the original sanding belt backplate and mounting the guide from the right side using the existing M6×10 screws, providing additional compatibility with different 1-inch belt sanders.
- Supports Both Edge Leading & Edge Trailing: Designed for flexible sharpening techniques. The guide supports both edge-leading and edge-trailing sharpening styles, allowing users to choose the method that best fits their workflow and blade type.
